Art Studio Teacher, Hudson
Carrie began her journey as an educator in Western Massachusetts where she taught after-kindergarten and high school art for several years. She earned her B.A. in Studio Art from Smith College, a Post-Baccalaureate degree in sculpture from Brandeis University and her M.F.A. in Sculpture from Hunter College. In addition, she works as a teaching artist with school-aged students in NYC public schools with Community Word Project. In her own practice, she makes ink drawings, watercolor paintings and builds 3-D objects from paper. She is a member of the tART women's artist collective and also a musical comedy improv performer. She is thrilled to be joining the staff of WMS.
