Carrie Rubinstein

Art Studio Teacher, Hudson St.

Carrie is a working artist based in Brooklyn. Prior to settling in New York, she taught in an after-kindergarten program and fine art to high school students in Western Massachusetts. She earned her BA in Studio Art from Smith College, a Post-Baccalaureate degree in sculpture from Brandeis University and an MFA in sculpture from Hunter College in 2007. Before WMS, Carrie was a teaching artist for grades 3-5 in NYC public schools through Community Word Project. In her studio work, Carrie makes ink drawings, watercolor paintings and builds 3-D objects from paper. This is her third year at WMS.
