YOUNG 2s LOTTERY:
(Children born between March 1st, 2015 - September 30th 2015)
Each year we receive a large number of requests for our young 2s program. Due to limited availability and a growing number of siblings and legacies, we hold a lottery for those wishing to apply. The lottery will determine which families continue on in the application and touring process (this does not mean acceptance to the school). Applications to enter the lottery will be available on SEPTEMBER 6, 2016 and are due in October 24th, 2016. There is no application fee to enter the lottery. If you are selected in the lottery you will need to submit a $50 fee to complete your application. Payment details will be included in your lottery notification email.
Which ages are included in the lottery?
The lottery will be for all children who are considered YOUNG TWO’s – that is between the ages of 2 years and 2 and a half (in September 2016). This means that if your child was born between March 1st, 2015 - September 30th 2015, he/she will be included in the YOUNG 2s lottery for the 2017- 2018 school year.
Children born after September 30, 2015 are not old enough to attend The Washington Market School for the 2017 - 2018 school year.
Are siblings and legacies included in the lottery?
Siblings* and legacies* wishing to attend WMS for the 2017-2018 school year will NOT be part of the lottery.
When will the lottery take place?
All applicants in the YOUNG 2s lottery must submit their application by OCTOBER 24th 2016. Results of the 2s lottery are sent early November.
The Washington Market school is a member of ISAAGNY and complies with their admissions schedule, therefore, all Admissions notifications will be emailed MARCH 1st, 2017.
