Q: What is the application process for The Washington Market School?

A: Parents are asked to submit an online Tour Request Form; forms are available on our website beginning September 7, 2011. Once we have received your request, our Director of Admissions, Shannon Markel, will call you to schedule a tour (due to the large number of requests please allow up to two weeks). When you arrive at WMS for your tour, you will receive a tour guidebook and an Application Form. If you choose to apply to WMS, we must receive your completed Application Form by January 31, 2012. The Application Form is separate from the Tour Request Form and it must be submitted by the deadline in order for your child(ren) to be considered for admission for the 2012-2013 school year. Acceptance decisions will be sent out in accordance with the ISAAGNY (Independent Schools Admission Association of Greater New York) guidelines.
