Heather Lee

Movement & Drama Studio Teacher

Heather has a BA in Modern Dance from Sarah Lawrence College and a MSEd in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Hunter College. She has taught dance, creative movement and theater arts to children in diverse settings in Hong Kong and New York. She was a classroom teacher at Hudson Street for 12 years and was the Site Director at Duane Street for two years. This is her twelfth year teaching movement and drama at WMS. Outside of her work at WMS, she is working with Gardens for Health International (Rwanda), TeachRwanda, and The Liberty International School (Tanzania) to support sustainable and locally based Early Childhood Education. She has written a musical picture book for children about chess and poetic board books on health and vegetables. She also performs with Sally Gross and Dancers, and is learning clogging and flatfooting with City Stompers.
