The Washington Market school is a member of ISAAGNY and complies with their admissions schedule, therefore, all Admissions notifications will be emailed MARCH 1st, 2017. 

Tours are for applicant families only. Unfortunately we are unable to offer tours in advance of receiving an application. Please visit the admissions section for details.

Laurie Keane

Classroom D

Laurie is a native New Yorker. She received her BA in Media Studies & English and her Masters in Teaching from Fordham University. Laurie has her certification in Early Childhood (Birth-Grade 2) and is continuing her studies toward the completion of her Montessori certification. Laurie taught 5th grade in NYC at PS 87 and later crossed the river to New Jersey to teach for nine years at the Sundance School in North Plainfield. She was a preschool and kindergarten teacher for three years and an art and science teacher for preschool and kindergarteners for six years. Prior to teaching, Laurie worked in not-for-profit, production and as an actress and puppeteer. Laurie is excited about her fifth year at WMS and is looking forward to teaching in classroom D with Catherine and Kate.
