Nicole Draskoczy

Classroom C

Nicole grew up in a small historic town in west central PA. She moved to NYC to attend college, earning a BS in Art Education and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, both from New York University.  Nicole also holds an American Montessori Society credential for ages 3-6, and New York State teaching certifications in both her fields of study. Nicole serves on the faculty of the West Side Montessori Teacher Education program as a Student Teacher Supervisor and has co-taught the student teaching course component of the training. She has traveled abroad to take part in the International Study Group in Reggio Emilia, Italy with fellow WMS teachers. Being the child of a first generation Hungarian, she grew up traveling frequently to visit family abroad and continues to have a passion for travel. In her spare time you’ll find her cooking up delicious dishes for her family, hanging out in art museums and city parks and playing with her now two-year-old son Enzo! This will be her 11th year at Washington Market School.
