Rachel Reardon

Classroom 4

Rachel was born in Ireland in the small port town of Larne and relocated to the city of Derry when she was 13. She received her Bachelors in Drama from the University of Ulster and continued her education by completing a Masters in Applied Drama with the University of Exeter in southern England. During her Masters, Rachel focused on Educational Drama specifically with young children. She has completed many projects with schools from Ireland and England, using drama techniques to help children expand their math, literacy and social skills. Throughout university, Rachel spent her summers working in summer camps in America and England as a camp counselor and instructor of both drama and horse-riding. After her Masters, she decided to pursue a career in New York and has worked with children through Oasis Summer Camp, TADA Youth Theater, Project Playdate and Swaddle Waddle. This year she will be completing her Montessori teaching certification with WSMS-TEP. She is very excited to start her second year at WMS and looks forward to getting to know all her students!
