ADMISSIONS 2017/18 

Applications for the 2017-2018 school year are now CLOSED.  

The Washington Market school is a member of ISAAGNY and complies with their admissions schedule, therefore, all Admissions notifications will be emailed MARCH 1st, 2017. 

Tours are for applicant families only. Unfortunately we are unable to offer tours in advance of receiving an application. Please visit the admissions section for details.

Robert Malii

Classroom 4

Robert was born in Kenya, where he worked in nursery schools for many years. He has an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from BMCC and a BA in Elementary Education from City College, graduating Cum Laude. Robert has also received his Masters in Early Childhood Education with honors in Education at City College. Robert began his training as a certified Montessori teacher at Westside Montessori School in early 2008 and graduated in 2012. Even in his spare time, Robert can often be found with children, telling stories of life in Kenyan villages, where wild animals walk around like pets. Robert has two daughters. He has been with the School for 28 years.
