Shannon Markel
Director of Admissions
Shannon is responsible for all aspects of the admissions process at WMS. Prior to joining The Washington Market School team in July 2010, Shannon was the Assistant Director of Admissions at Claremont Preparatory School. She completed her M.Ed. at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and taught elementary school in Los Angeles before moving to NYC in 2008. In her free time Shannon enjoys running, competing in triathlons and taking long walks in the park with her dog.
