Chess Program Director
Tyler is an artist who has been living in New York City for seven years. He plays saxophone and graduated from New School with a degree in Jazz Performance. The Tyler Schwartz Group, his jazz trio, gigs around the city regularly. For the past five years, Tyler has been working in the Chess Shop, where he plays and teaches chess to people of all walks of life. Tyler loves the environment at WMS and feels lucky to be a part of it.
