2021 Summer Camp

Dear WMS Families,

We are excited to announce the details of our 2021 Summer Camp! Our fully in-person summer camp is a testament to how far we’ve come and how hard we have all worked this year. This time last year we were only able to meet online and now we are looking forward to a summer together once again. WMS Summer Camp is staffed by our incredible WMS teachers and is a wonderful way to stay connected with our community throughout the summer. Summer programming includes music, art, chess, gymnastics, neighborhood walks, and trips to the park.

Summer Camp is open to current and newly enrolled WMS families only. The program is six weeks long and runs from Monday, June 21st until Friday, July 30th. This year we will offer three two-week sessions as well as an option to sign up for all six weeks for children ages 3-5. In order to ensure we are able to maintain as few close contacts as possible, we ask that families sign up for either one session ONLY or all six weeks.

Sessions choices are:

Session 1: June 21st-July 2nd
Session 2: July 6th-July 16th (closed on July 5th, tuition is prorated for closure)
Session 3: July 19th-July 30th

We will offer the following programs:

  • Full Day (children ages 3-5) 5 days a week, 9-3
    • Full Day children have lunch and rest at camp
  • Half day (children ages 3-5) 5 days a week, 9-1
    • Half Day children have lunch at camp
  • Half day 2s, 5 days a week, 9-12
    • Children in the 9-12 session must be 2 by July 1st. These children leave before lunch. There is no option for enrolling all six weeks for the 2s program

All families receiving Financial Aid during the school year are also eligible for the same scholarship award during Summer Camp.

Registration for Summer Camp will open Thursday, April 15th. Camp is enrolled on a first come first serve basis. Due to decreased class sizes this year, we recommend signing up as soon as possible; there are limited spots available! More detailed information about how to register will go out on April 15th along with the online registration link.

Also note that COVID-related health and safety procedures will remain in place. These include mandatory mask wearing for all children and staff, weekly pool testing, staggered arrival and dismissal times, limiting contacts through mindful schedules and streaming studios, and enhanced cleaning procedures.

We look forward to seeing you this summer! Please see the 2021 WMS Summer Camp email sent Friday, March 26th for more information.
