After you submit an application, you will be able to access the online Admissions Calendar to schedule your virtual school tour.
Within the same admissions calendar will be an opportunity to schedule a group discussion with 2-3 other families. Weather permitting, we will hold these meetings in Staple Alley, an outdoor space located right behind our Hudson Street campus. There will also be an opportunity to join a small group discussion via Zoom later in the admissions season if that is a family's preference.
After the Large Group Tour and the Small Group Discussion are completed, parents will have an option to schedule a physical walk-through of one of our sites.
A sibling is defined as a child whose brother or sister attends/ed WMS.
A legacy is defined as a child whose parent attended WMS.
Early notification will be January 10th.
Sibling and legacy families are eligible for Early Notification. Submit your application by December 1st, 2021 for Early Notification by mid-January. Any sibling / legacy applications submitted after December 1st will be considered with our General Application pool.
If your family has been out of the school for more than two years, we would like to invite you to tour again, however it is not a requirement.
The Enrollment Office does its best to accommodate session requests, but cannot guarantee that we can give families their first-choice preference.
This is a virtual tour of our two sites: Duane Street and Hudson Street. During this Virtual School Tour, parents will learn about our educational philosophy and programming at WMS. Our hope is that you get a sense of the campuses, see inside our classrooms, studio spaces, libraries, gyms and more.
Tours last for one hour and are for parents only.
Following your Virtual School Tour, we invite prospective parents to participate in a Small Group Discussion with 2-3 other families. It is an open conversation about your classroom observations and also an opportunity to ask in-depth questions about the school. All parents should plan to attend this step in our application process.
Discussions last for 45 minutes and are for parents only.
