PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FINANCIAL AID SCHOOL AND STUDENT SERVICE PORTAL FOR SUBMISSIONS OPENS IN SEPTEMBER FOR THE 2018/19 SCHOOL YEAR.
The Washington Market School is a non-profit, non-sectarian Early Childhood Center. Our School actively raises funds every year for its Financial Aid Program. Tuition Assistance is awarded on the basis of financial need and funds availability.
To assist our Financial Aid Committee, The Washington Market School subscribes to the School and Student Services (SSS). The SSS is an independent organization that provides need-based analysis to help private schools determine the financial need of their applicants. Families wishing to be considered for financial aid must submit a Parent Financial Statement to SSS by December 15th of the year before expect your child to start school. (Supporting documents such as tax returns can be submitted after this date directly to the business office at WMS).
The Washington Market School is also authorized to accept childcare assistance vouchers from the NYC Administration for Children’s Services/Agency for Child Development (ACS/ACD). Please call the ACS/ACD directly at 311 for information. A family or parent who qualifies for a voucher but is waitlisted must also submit a Parent Financial Aid Statement to the School and Student Services.
Questions regarding financial aid can be directed to Rachael Macchiesi at Hudson Street (call 212-233-2176 or email R.Macchiesi@wms-nyc.org).
